Please join the Murray Symphony on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at Hillcrest Junior High School for a Masterworks concert featuring Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 1 "Titan" and "Overture to Rienzi" by Richard Wagner.
The Mahler is a deep dive into luscious Romanticism, full of both brilliant and woeful themes, and employs 7 horns, 5 trumpets, an extended woodwind section, and two sets of timpani! The "Overture to Rienzi" is bright and energetic with famous melodic themes audiences will recognize.
In addition to the spectacular program, artwork from students in Murray School District will be displayed both in the lobby and during the performance of the Mahler.
Tickets are $8 for ages 11 and up. Patrons age 10 & under are free. This performance is recommended for ages 8 & up.
